Bikes for Beats
Nothing like makes up for 4 days of cool cloudy weather than the rumble of about a hundred Harley Davidson engines on a sunny Sunday afternoon in June. The conditions were just what the doctor ordered for the first annual Bikes for Beats, held yesterday in Brockville.
Although too early to give a complete financial wrapup organizer, Lindsay Pennell, calls the event a huge success. Plans for next summer are already underway with plans for the event moving downtown as well as to the 3rd Saturday in July. When asked what was planned for 2015, Lindsay simply said “more bikes, more entertainment, more food and more kids activities”. So there you have it biker’s, cancel any plans you have for July 18, 2015 and head straight to Brockville.
All money raised by Bikes for Beats goes to support the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation unit at the Brockville General Hospital. We look forward to being a part of this fantastic event next year and in the years to come.
