Capital police has registered an FIR against Sheikh-ul-Islam Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri and 30 accomplices for assault against law enforcement personnel. FIR has been registered on complaint of SHO Barakahu police station that was injured in skirmish between protestors and Police. They are charged with attempted murder of police personnel, robbery and maintenance of Public order.
Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri in his public speech on Wednesday alleged that Interior Minister R4ehman Malik is behind registration of FIR. He challenged the Rehman Malik and law enforcement agencies to dare arrest him. Dr. Qadri said that he will fight any move to arrest him.
