I’ve always loved this idea of completing the missing side of a leaf, but drawing the real thing has a few disadvantages. I prefer photos as the students can clearly see a the flat shape they need to match. Here are three leaf templates that you can download by clicking on the image. The pdf files have 2 pages, one with a left side and one with a right side leaf for lefty artists.
