Finding custom fabric pieces for your home’s décor can be pricey, but you can save some money if you sew some items yourself. While that can save you some cash, buying lots of fabric can still be expensive if you don’t know where to look.

Bedspreads and blankets can be found at a good price at department stores to be easily transformed into curtains and tablecloths. Rugs can be remade as upholstery for chairs or benches while also being sewn into pillows.
