This is my friend Martha. She’s just way too cool for me, as you can see here. Seriously, this girl is a talented musician, teacher, student, and worship leader. And she always manages to look impeccable. I’m not really sure how that’s all possible, but there ya go.
I asked Martha to say a bit about her personal style, because she can say it way better than I:
“Fashion to me is not about trying to fit into a specific style mold or to impress people. Fashion to me is an outlet that allows me to express something unique that is inherently “me” from the inside out and that is why I don’t really have a “style.” My style fluctuates daily, so one day I can be girly and feminine with a flowy dress and the next day I can be the complete opposite with my leather jacket and army boots (I just happened to be my fierce-and-edgy self in these pictures lol).
All my wardrobe pieces are relatively plain and simple, but I love the thought process that goes into creating a look for the day. My fashion philosophy is that belts and statement jewelry can make a world’s difference in an outfit, but so do confidence and being comfortable with who you are without revealing ALL of who you are. I believe that a woman can be enticing, enchanting, and dare I say.. sexy, when her beauty, personality, and intelligence no longer need a physical explanation.”
