Another indie artist courtesy of Urban Outfitters’ online playlist. I absolutely love the music in this track. It reminds me of walking on a beach with the water rushing to your feet and the wind in your hair. So peaceful.
Feel It All Around was released in 2009 as a non-album single. According to You Tube comments, it was featured on the opening sequence of the show Portlandia, which gave it considerable recognition. Though the video above shows a band, online sources credit Ernest Green as the sole member, so they may be touring only.
Green was signed by Sub Pop Records in April of 2011. In July of that same year, he released his first album, Within and Without. It went to #26 on the Billboard 200 chart.
