Be patient you may think they look fine but Patrick is a perfectionist, you are not leaving his studio with bad brows. Then numbing cream is applied and you will wait for about 45 – 50 minutes. This is probably the longest part of your entire appointment time.

Time to begin, as I have had permanent make up before I know that this treatment can be a little uncomfortable, but with the right expert the discomfort is minimal. I would say that the only sound I could hear was a scratching sound, from the tiny tool that Patrick uses to add the pigment into the brow area, no discomfort at all.

During the treatment Patrick adjusted the pigment mix, initially he wanted to mix 80 % Pearl Blonde and 20% Mocha, as he could see how my skin was taking in the color he adjusted it first to 70%-30% then again to 60%-40% mix. Patrick provides the finest pigments manufactured in Germany to give clients the maximum results. Patrick carefully etches the pigment mix back and forth across the brow-line placing realistic strokes for about 20 mins; pausing periodically to check the symmetry of his work. Finally taking photos, you have to expect that they will fade over the next few weeks until you return for your touch up treatment.
The pigment will appear very sharp and maybe darker than you expected immediately after the procedure. This is because the pigment is still sitting on top of the skin and has not settled in completely. The color of the pigment will soften gradually. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab as you use the aftercare, as this is excess pigment or bodily fluid that is naturally exiting your skin. Proper aftercare will ensure that the pigment holds well, after one week, you will notice a slight color fade but during that time Patrick has an after care lotion for your to use, this is anti-bac and will keep the brows soft, until you return.
