We’re back again with another feature of fashion in movies. Almost didn’t want to fashion-feature this one, since it’s about a fashion icon and I can’t say it’s not intimidating. Well, I’m glad I gave it a shot, because it’s fun to mix-match this one!
In 2009, there’s a biopic movie of a French fashion icon, Coco Chanel, starred by also a French actress, Audrey Tatou. The movie was titled Coco Before Chanel. Coco dared enough to break the rules about woman clothing wear, using pants and casual stripes. It lost Oscar’s Best Achievement in Costume Design to The Young Victoria. But I think Catherine Leterrier did a fine job in handling the costume. Somehow I thought Coco’s style is still wearable until now. It’s timeless, basic but still classy. Furthermore, you can check them out below :
1. Black blazer and white blouse
2. Blue Blouse & Beige Skirt
3. White Blazer & Black Blouse
4. Striped Shirt & Blazer
Thank you, Polyvore
