Fauzia Kasuri, a founding member of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), on Wednesday announced to quit the party over the claims of “unjust” distribution of party tickets on reserved seats.

“I am announcing with heavy heart that I am leaving Tehreek-e-Insaf,” she said while addressing a news conference here in Islamabad.

Fauzia alleged that PTI has been hijacked by a mafia due to which the thousands of workers are disappointed.

Fauiza, a close relative of former foreign minister Khurshid Mahmod Kasuri, alleged that that advocate Hamid Khan did the conspiracy against over dual nationality albeit she had withdrawn her US citizenship

She also alleged that the party tickets on reserved seats were not distributed merit but instead on relativity and friendship basis and three relatives of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak were also among the ticket holders.
