Gift Guides are great for inspiration so I try to do them whenever possible and with us now being in June, Father's day is right around the corner so it's perfect timing. I know men can generally be hard to buy for so hopefully showing you a few options will help you decide what to get this year.
This personalised canvas holdall* is perfect for Warren; he travels every now and then with his job and he always has a lot of stuff to take, especially when he's flying. This one is a lot bigger than his current one and feels sturdy and durable. I love how it is subtly personalised with initials and I love the charcoal wash. It's features include Detachable shoulder strap, padded base panel, antique brass effect fittings and two tone detail and zipped internal pouch pocket. I think he will love this and get a lot of use out of it.
Sunglasses are always a good option in my eyes as Father's Day normally hits around the Summer time. These are from the new Carrera range at Sunglasses shop and are gorgeous! The Carrera range is one of the most famous sunglasses brands in the world and they have just launched their new 2015 collection that will be sure to impress any man. I chose the Carrera 6000MT*, which are quite a simple wayfarer shape, have a matt black frame and the fashionable mirrored lenses. Not only are they stylish, they are also practical with a UV400 protection and come with a luxury case. We have had a few pairs of sunglasses from website so far and the service is brilliant; quick delivery and they can't be beaten on price either.
If you have younger children, this cushion is from Getting personal is really cute and is sure to put a smile on Dad's face when he opens it. I accidentally got mine saying 'we love you lots' but you can chose from 'I love you lots' if you just have one child, you can also change the 'Daddy' to whatever you want, upto 10 characters. A lovely addition to the bed or sofa.
Bluebeards revenge is a new brand to us but so far we are impressed, all the products smell fresh yet masculine and modern. They offer a whole range of different grooming products, you can buy separate products or purchase their gift sets; anything from the starter kit to the Eau de Toilette gift set* like we have above. Bluebeards Revenage won the FHM grooming awards in 2014 for brand of the year so you know they won't be a bad choice.
Another option are the gift sets from the latest Spring/Summer 15 menswear collection by Ted Baker. This is the 'M set' and includes a 100ml body wash, 100ml aftershave balm and 30ml eau de toilette and are all infused with a fresh, woody and understated fragrance with top notes of tonka bean, musk and vetiver combined with a spicy blend of amber and coriander. The products work really well and are great for throwing in Warren's travel bag when he's going away and the eau de toilette always smell gorgeous. He goes through products more than I do so a couple of gift sets like these are always handy.
For something to hit the sweet spot, the Joe & Seph's gourmet popcorn will be perfect while being a little bit more luxury than a bar of chocolate. They have a whole range of delicious flavor combinations from salted caramel to cheese on toast! They have just brought out a new 'cocktail range' made with 5% real spirit if you fancy something a bit stronger ;)
Last but not least, a little sentimental gift of some printed photos is a lovely personal touch. I got 20 free photos added to my account when I joined snapfish so all I had to pay was the postage (£1.99) which isn't bad! We can then get some frames and put these around the house or on Warren's side of the bed.
What are you planning on getting for Father's Day? Do any of these stand out to you?
