Let me go ahead and do a break down of just WHY each of these looks rules my world.
The Sequin Sensation1- The shape of the sequin sweater is perfect. It's comfy cozy meets "yeah, I'm girly girl" and I love it. 2- The non-sequined thick arm cuffs, bottom hem, and collar adds an amazing pop of color next to the glory of a full bodied metallic sweater. 3- The soft and feminine whimsical skirt underneath this bold sweater = the perfect balance yet still embodies that "I totally just rolled out of bed today" effortless look.4- Then, take that "effortless look" and slap on a pair of killer heels that show off some of the sexiest features of a woman. Her arch, ankles and calves. I love that the entire outfit starts from top to bottom going from darkest to lightest. Great little bit of an ombre action there. Even if it was unintentional.
The Classic Edge1- You can NEVER go wrong with a long white button up shirt and bold black skinnies. 2- Just LOOK at the lines in that top. No line, corner, edge, or shape was left to fate. This top is so unbelievable thought through and perfectly structured I could cry of happiness. I love the sheer white material that allows you to see how high-rise the black pants are. The middle of the sleeve having large folds adds amazing texture to the silhouette and come one now, the back is slightly longer than the front making this top so dang sexy.3- BIG CUFFS. Just look at them. Do I even need to say more? Gimme this top.4- Ok the pants. First of all, I love the high waist. As mentioned before, I love even more that you can see the waist through the sheer blouse. Patterns are hot and these pants are no exception. I love that instead of using a different color for a pattern they went with a different texture. Shine on top of matte= major effing win.5- Lilac cuffs?? LILAC CUFFS? ok ok ok. Talk about adding in a subtle yet ridiculously good looking feature to a classic look.5- I'll be honest. I'm not in love with the sand colored heel here. Doesn't do much for me and I don't think they do much for the ensemble. I would still pair a neutral shoe with this look but not sure this heel is "the one".The Neutral GoddessGimme a minute. I need to swoon over this outfit just a little longer.........................Ok.1- Look at how all the lines of each individual piece play off of each other. From the top of the heels to the hem of the trousers. The fit of the trousers from the calves to the top hem and how the trousers his perfectly along the hip line. The sheer and futuristic top is tucked in allowing you to get a fantastic eye full of the overlap waist. Then you have the playful sequin lines on the top which has a very "Back to the Future" connotation. 2- Neutrals. Neutrals. Neutrals. White top, baby peach toned bottoms, white heels. Do you really need more than that?3- I love the fabrics. P.S. Look at the amazing "dots" on the sleeves. It's all about the small details people! The sheer jersey-like material paired with the sequins and "dots"= a perfect execution of simplicity yet bold. 4- Coral and white. Oh my hell, my new favorite combo.5- Those heels. Those heels. Oh my, those heels. The open toe with the high ankle cuff. The front zipper and the simple idea that a white leather wedge exists. GIMME.Now excuse me while I go into a fashion coma.
