Who knew that being in college could be a dream come true?
I have fallen in love. Fallen too far for her.
We first met when we were fifteen and from that moment on, there was no looking back. Every single joy, from eating vanilla ice cream to reading became a joy when it was done with her.
Now, today was the the epitome of a perfect day...
...At last! The bell rang. The last lecture for the day had just ended.
I packed up my books and placed it in my shoulder bag. Multitude of people were flooding out via the door. I casually waited for the path to become empty. After all, she would wait for me.
Even though we fell in love when we lived a thousand miles away from each other, we both ended up in the same college.
I stepped out from the lecture hall and started looking around.
Yes!
There she was, with her arms hugging her books while she stared at her shoes. She was an introvert. I used to think that introverts are depressed individuals. How wrong I was.
After meeting her, my world blossomed.
I went towards her and gave her a huge hug. Then I lifted her head up and kissed her forehead. She had a slight smile on her face and it was slowly turning into a beaming grin.
Sure enough, she was happy to see me too. I couldn't help grinning too.
She was perfect. Sure, just like every other introvert, she had a huge sense of modesty engraved into her character which made her think that she wasn't perfect.
I just hope she feels loved with me. She is my life.
I held her hand and led her away. We both went to our apartment which we had rented off the campus.
I unlocked the door and led her in. Everytime I entered the door, it was a dream come true for me. Living with her.
We both sat down and had a fun time. We had our meal and then got into our bed while discussing our day.
We never stopped holding hands.
We both got into bed and picked up our respective books. We lived to read before going to sleep.
She slept suddenly while reading hers. It must have been a tiring day for her.
I dropped my book and just kept looking at her. Marvelling at how innocent she looked while she was asleep.
After a while, I slept too.
Our hands didn't separate that night.
Nothing's gonna change my live for her.
~Till The End.
