Facebook Will Show 'Sponsored Results' in the Search Box
Posted on the 24 July 2012 by Hpmurah2u @hpmurah2uFacebook is testing a new search advertising format called 'Sponsored Results'. This type of format allows advertisers to show ads at the top of the search box, which is usually used to find the page, or a specific application. For example, a gaming company that is competing can target CityVile Zynga, so anyone looking for a 'CityVille' will see ads that use keyword. In addition to ease of advertisers, the sponsors of this format would be a huge revenue for Facebook. Result for links in the search box will look the same as the search results in general. However, the search results will sponsor it says 'Sponsored'. Results 'Sponsored Results' will not appear on the search page, but only in the search box located above the page. origin source teknoup
