Face Brush Set for Less than £5?
When I stumbled across this little bargain of a deal I knew that I had to let you all know. It wouldn't have been fair not to. I've been a long time Real Techniques girl when it comes to brushes (they've pretty much taken over my collection), I didn't think that anyone else would be able to touch the quality, but little did I know that I would be able to find it for less than a fiver! I've wanted to try different brands of brushes for what seems like forever, the black handles and shiny silver from brands like MAC, Sigma and Zoeva have always really called to me as something a little more sophisticated than the colourful offerings that I've seemed to stack up on, but with a perfectly good brush set already at my finger tips, I couldn't quite handle shelling out the £20-something per brush that it would have cost me.
Cue, the introduction of these little beauties to my life (available here). You get 4 beautiful brushes and change from a fiver, I don't think I can over emphasize what a good deal this is, ranging from the fluffy to the tapered to the flat headed. And I don't have one bad word to say about them.
The domed brush is probably my favourite, very comparable in shape to the RT Expert face brush, I like using it for cream blushes, foundation and concealer since it seems to work really well at buffing in liquid products really seamlessly into the skin. The angled blush seems to fit perfectly on the tops of my cheeks, so is great for blush, bronzer and highlight, and the duo-fibres means it picks up the perfect amount of product. Another good 'un is the tapered brush which I find really great for blending in concealer underneath the eyes, since it seems to fit really perfectly, and contouring the cheeks for a really chiselled look. And the stippling brush, well that's good for, um, stippling.
All have been placed in my brush collection and so far have stood up to the test of not being forgotten. The quality is amazing (I feel like singing they are so soft) and even after washing I haven't experienced fall-out with any of them. For a fiver for all of them, you can't go wrong.
Will you be picking up a pack of these?
