The month of February has been an awesome month for me. I have found some of the best shopping deals ever over the last 2 weeks and the best part about it is most of it didn’t cost me a dime. It all started with Amazon, one of my favorite online shopping destinations, who can resist a store that sale, everything? I have been an Amazon Prime member for the last 2 years and have purchased all of my books from them including some textbooks. What I didn’t know is that Amazon would buy your books back from you. Somehow I missed this section until 2 weeks ago while browsing on Amazon at 2:45 am, did I mention I was nocturnal? Amazon pulled up all the books I had purchased from them that was eligible for buy back credit. All I had to do was box the books up, attach the label that the web site generated, and give it to UPS. The books arrived to them in 2 days and ching ching… I received a $200.00 credit with them, so of course I did what I do best….shop! This could be Love…lol
Here’s what I snatched up, Two Lips Leverage Booties, even if I had to pay for them they were marked down from $119.00 to $28.46. At this very moment they are still available at this price and please note this is a leather shoe. Ed Hardy perfume sample set, I love Ed Hardy accessories and perfume but his clothes are highly overpriced. I went to the outlet in Las Vegas to shop for my brother and a basic T-shirt with a design was almost $70.00 and that was on clearance. New bling for my iphone, phones are the new accessory so they may as well be fashionable, your phone goes everywhere you go! Philosophy products, I’ve been dying to try their line every since Oprah raved about Hope in a Jar on her favorite things show. Unfortunately, me and Oprah are in two different tax brackets so $49 – $110.00 for some facial cream is a little pricy for me but you can snag a half ounce for $15.00, Is that a day’s worth of facial cream? Plus, I have sensitive facial skin so Hope in a Jar may very well be Nightmare in a Jar for me! The body washes ranges from $16.00 – $34.50 so I used my credit to try some products out. I also ordered 4 books I had in my cart as well.
Once again I hit up eBay, and found this amazing Kate Spade Leather bag in a gorgeous shade of pink just in time for spring. I purchased this bag from a seller in Winston-Salem, NC and when I opened the box I was instantly in love. I paid $85.00 for this bag with free shipping that was listed as being previously used but that was an understatement the bag literally looks brand new and the lining is gorgeous. I am very knowledgeable about KS bags so I know this bag at one point probably retailed for about $300+ dollars. I bought this bag on the 15th and it arrived on the 18th, so shouts out to eBay seller highfieldsfarmnc for adding to my KS collection.
I was introduced to a new website by Facebook called style.ly I had never heard of this website before until they posted some Betsey Johnson items on Facebook and it caught my eye. I signed up on the site and received style points that totaled out to be about $10.00 and some change. Also, it appears that people can award you points as well. This site is similar to eBay but people sale gently used and new items at a fixed price that you don’t have to bid on. While browsing, a pair of BJ earrings caught my eye because I had previously purchased the Pack Rat necklace that matches the earrings. I bought them for a whopping $2.86 because I had the credit that was awarded to me. Buying these for retail would’ve cost me almost $40.00. This was my first purchase with this site so I will see how things go. It appears that you receive credits when you purchase merchandise and daily when you log on. Lastly, I received a 30 day supply of Actifirm face care products. I’ve never heard of this brand but found that a bottle of the renovation serum cost $60.00 by itself and the cleanser is $30.00. It’s supposed to be all natural and it actually has really good reviews. As I stated, I have sensitive skin so I have to be careful about the products I use or I run the risk of looking like Freddy Krueger……..again! If anyone has used their products, please let me know your thoughts.
Total out of pocket cost for all of these items $87.86, Not bad, not bad at all!HAPPY SHOPPING
