Eyetex Dazzler Lipstick LIP TOUCH

Hi girls,

I hope you all are doing good. Yesterday was Karwa Chauth so got to see all nice mehendi pictures of all those who were celebrating it. Everyone seem all set for the festive season around. My review today is of a lipstick from Eyetex Dazzler called LIP TOUCH - no.12. This was one of the first lipsticks I purchased way back and I used to wear it often so its kind of a rediscovered lipstick from my stash. Let us jump on to the review.

Ingredients: Nothing mentioned.

Price: Around 100 bucks. I had got it on a discount of Rs.75/-

The lipstick comes in a boring maroon and gold packaging which I am not a big fan of. The cap does not click lock but still manages to stay put. However with one or two of them I have had issues where the cap got loose. The shade number and name is mentioned on the bottom of the tube. So overall I can say the packaging is not that great. The good news is that the company has revamped the packaging now :)

Now coming to the shade. Since I started blogging I always hear ladies  saying that we don't like maroon/ plum lipsticks. To be honest I am not a big fan either but once in a while its ok to try something new which may be out of your comfort zone. As many may know I love my neutral lipsticks but yes I do wear bright lipsticks too. This one of the first lipsticks I purchased way back. At that time there were no websites or blogs who could have told me which shades are nice to try. Ok so I am not saying I regret buying this lipstick, I love it. I used to wear it often and then I redisovered it in my stash recently and hence the review.

The lipstick is a plumy maroon shade. It does contain tiny particles of shimmer which is not even noticeable unless you look closely . The lipstick has a lovely texture and glides on easily on the lips. The lipstick looks great in pictures.One swipe is enough to get an opaque finish. Since it is a dark vampy kind of shade you can use it as a stain which I do many a times, also  it will last you a long time. It fades evenly leaving a nice lip stained look.The lipstick has a nice smell which is not annoying at all. This is a perfect shade for fall/winter in my opinion.Whether you like this shade or not is totally your call because I guess everyone may not be able to carry it off (just my opinion)
The Good:Inexpensive.Rich saturated color.Pleasent smell.Will suit most skin tones.
Shade is perfect for fall/winter.

The not so Good: The packaging needs to be revamped (which has been done now)Availability is a big issue.No ingredient list mentioned.Not everyone may be a fan of this shade.

I have been using Eyetex Dazzler cosmetics for so many years now. Overall the products are good. In fact they have revamped the look of their products and also introduce some new ones. I will be getting some of those soon and hopefully will review them. This brand is easily available in Mumbai and Chennai as far as I know. I would recommend you to try this lipstick if you like the shade, are ready to experiment and if you could find it.
