I have always LOVED the way falsies look, but could never get them to work for me. They would always end up caddywhompus on my eye or fall off in minutes. I’m always on youtube & instagram & those beauty gurus always make it look so damn easy while using TWEEZERS! *Shakes fist* After watching a bajillion videos & just my random browsing/trial & error in the beauty aisle, I FINALLY found some products that work for this eyelash challenged girl. I’ve even applied in a Walmart parking lot in the car! The best part? With the exception of 1 product, they can all be found at your local drugstore/Walmart.

This makes lash application a BREEZE! It holds your lashes while you apply glue & it makes it so much easier to apply the lashes in the right part of your eye. The rubber tip is great for pressing the bands on your lash line without moving/sticking to the lashes.

These add a little extra oomph to your lashes without being crazy over the top if you want a more ‘natural’ look.

TOO FACED Better Than Sex Mascara in Black
I got this in a TOO FACED kit & the hype is the real deal! I like to apply a coat on my lashes & then follow with the Maybelline. I think when it’s time to purchase again I will stick with the travel size, because mascaras always dry up on me before the toss date. Plus I always seem to have a drawerful of mascaras from ipsy/beauty store birthday gifts/sets.

KISS Ever EZ Lashes Strip Lash Adhesive in Clear
A big problem with eyelash application for me in the past was the glue I was using. I don’t know if they were funky because they had been in the kit too long, the glue was just crap, or my amateur self just wasn’t savvy enough to use. I LOVE this glue. It dries clear, doesn’t have a funny smell, isn’t sticky, easy to apply with the wand & is waterproof. My lashes stay on until I’m ready to take them off which is huge in this Florida heat!

Maybelline Pumped Up! Colossal Volum’Express Mascara in Glam Black
I bought this after hearing so many raves about it. I found that if I apply a coat on top of the TOO FACED mascara, I get the best of both worlds; full, voluminous, & defined glamorous lashes. It looks like I have a natural pair of falsies on, which is HUGE because I have very thin, short & spread out lashes in addition to patches snow white ones thanks to my radiation treatment. Dream team for sure!!
