Milan has resumed its normal  life, leaving the summer break behind.: bars, restaurants, museums, theaters, shops are open now. I would like to point you out some interesting events you can attend if you are  in Milan.
THE EXHIBITION OF PICASSO Royal Palace Milan Until January 6, 2013
When I saw the posters that we announced the arrival of the exhibition of Picasso I thought: “I could not miss the appointment!” Just to mention the greatness of the artist here one his famous sentences: "The painting is not done to decorate apartments. It  is an instrument of offensive and defensive war against the enemy. " This exhibition is an important elaboration of this artist's work: there are over 200 works, some of which have never been exhibited. It ranges from the blue and the pink artistic stage of this artist, the period of the "African" research or proto-Cubist, the Cubism and the Synthetic Classic Cubism, the surrealist paintings, the period of political involvement and the paintings on the theme of the war, the pop interlude on a theme inspired by the great masters of the Renaissance and modern art the exhibition arrives to his latest productions before his death in 1972.

SERATE MUSICALI
If you take advantage of your visit to Milan you can spend an evening at the theater. Now there are many musicals like Shreck, The Saturday Night Fever, Priscilla. If you love classical music  there are the musical evenings ( organised every fall) and they take place at the Milan Conservatory, which is located in a beautiful historic building in the narrow streets of Old Milan - behind the elegant fashion district -  or at the Teatro dal Verme, in Cairoli, right next to the Castello Sforzsco
