Thanks to Spotify for helping me find tonight’s song. The music reminds me of the beach which fits the “coast” quite well. It also reminds me of someone…the last person I was at the beach with a few months ago.
I think the lyrics describe a couple that went on vacation together. Sometime during the trip, there was a fallout – maybe even a neglect of problems that already existed before they left. The couple may have broken up during this time leaving the singer with a negative thought about the last place they were together…the coast.
