What better time to give you my thoughts on a product than when I've completely used it up. I'm back with a few more empties as I've slowly been making my way through my stash of products in the bathroom and also my bedroom. Although a used up product usually means that I've loved it, some are used up simply to make some space in the cupboard. Most of my empties are usually based on skincare or haircare, so it's good to include a couple of makeup products this time too!
L'Oreal Skin Perfection 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution: I've already raved about this product so much so I won't say too much about it apart from that it has rivalled and even surpassed Bioderma for me. This means that it will be a definite repurchase when I come to buy another makeup remover. The gentle and toning formula is great for soothing my skin and also does a great job of removing my makeup at night.
Simple Kind to Skin Hydrating Light Moisturiser: My skin has had a massive turnaround over the last month or so as it has gone from being very dry to quite normal but oily in some areas, which means I've been ditching my intensive moisturisers in favour of something a bit lighter. This Simple Light Moisturiser has been great at keeping my skin feeling soft and hydrated without leaving me with a shiny face throughout the day. I'll be repurchasing this moisturiser when I make my way through a few more in the cupboard.
Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder: It's no secret that this is one of the holy grail makeup products that I just can't be without. I've been using this powder for the last couple of years and still absolutely love it for keeping my makeup in place and also keeping any oily patches at bay. This powder alone has lasted me such a long time so you really do get value for money there, and I've already got another one on the go now.
Blistex Relief Cream: I've mentioned this lip treatment a few times on this blog already but now it's back as I've finally used it all up. This lip relief cream has been a godsend for my dry lips which get especially bad in the colder months. All you need to do is pop a little bit of this cream on the lips and soon enough you're left with soft and smooth lips, and it's especially good as a treatment overnight. I would repurchase this product but only after I've used up the other balms/creams in my stash.
T-Zone Clear Out Nose Pore Strips: As a sufferer of quite bad blackheads on my nose, pore strips are an absolute must and I tend to use them each week or every other week in order to give my pores a good clean. I'm already a big fan of the T-Zone tea tree skincare range and these pore strips are no exception as they are so easy to use and leave your pores looking a lot clearer. You get 6 strips in a box and I usually find them in Savers or Home Bargains for around £1.50 which makes them a total bargain compared to the more expensive strips from Biore. I've repurchased a few boxes of these already and will continue to do so.
Superdrug Coconut & Sweet Almond Intensive Conditioner: This has been my meh product lately as I just didn't find it to do very much for my hair which is disappointing as it's sold as an intensive conditioner. You get a lot of product in the tub which means it'll last you quite a while and it also smells lovely but that's not enough to make me repurchase sadly. I'd totally recommend the Boots Ingredients Coconut & Almond Intensive Hair Mask as an alternative as it left my hair looking so healthy and shiny.
