Ethnic Showstoppers at LFW 2018

Models on the runaway have always amazed us as they twirl and display the best ethnic couture.

Also 2018 geared up with the start of the most awaited Lakme Fashion Week.

From westerns to ethnic, celebrity showstoppers kept us hooked on to their designs as they showcased in their best way.

As summer season will be kicking off in few months, experimenting with cooler designs and fabrics emerged as one of the main design blend of the season.

A quick glimpse at these showstoppers is all that we need  to look at,

Glittery Anarkali Salwar Design

Kangana showed up in the mystically designed anarkali by Shyamal Bhumika who is known for her finesse work. Moreover, we can think of no one better than the fearless Kangana who took the center stage as a ‘fairytale muse’.

The bollywood actress looked every bit like a ‘Queen’ in the tulle dupatta.

This year’s LFW had more of bridal fashions that one would yearn to take cues from. From lehengas , off-shoulder gowns, shararas, Jumpsuits, Cocktail dresses  there was something from the ensemble for the would-be-bride.

Be it lehenga or salwar designs – it’s the regal thread embroidery that makes all of Manish Malhotra’s designs so special.

Also this year Jacqueline dazzled in a gorgeous pastel hue coloured gown with a sheer overlay.

Aditi Rao Hyadri glamorously displayed fashion designer Payal Singhal’s collection. She was all dolled up in the bridal couture which comprised of a beautiful ivory lehenga, choli and dupatta.

The fit and freak bong beauty, Bipasha Basu was modelled in a sari embellished with tassels and golden embroidery on it.

The ideology behind showcasing such fashion is to emulate the strength and allure of the lotus flower.

It’s better to grab in some best kurtis in trend, rather than getting fixated on conventional salwar suit from online shopping.

More than salwar suits, kurtas made from jeans fabric and pocketed kurtas added up to this year’s LFW trend.

As days progress, fashion trends and trendsetters have been creating a niche for themselves for which purchasing any ethnic wear or salwar kameez through online shopping might gradually wane soon.

The reason being people will start taking cues and create designer garments for themselves instead of purchasing.

Also, star-studded celebrities and celebrity showstoppers have constantly led us to unleash our true fashion self.
