Calling all pink lovers, this is a shade that I hope you'll love! Essie Cascade Cool is a shade I always read about on blogs and after seeing it available for £1.99 on Fragrance Direct I decided that I just had to have it in my life. Cascade Cool is such a pretty and very girl shade of pink and one that I'd say leans more on the lilac side which I absolutely love. It's definitely bright enough to be considered a perfect summer pink but also subtle enough that you don't feel like your nails are screaming out Barbie pink due to the hint of purple. I couldn't praise the formula of this shade enough as it was just such a joy to work with. It's probably the best Essie formula that I've come across as the polish was just thick enough to give a good coverage in 2 coats but not gloopy in the sense that you would be left with air bubbles and plenty of smudges. I was amazed at the drying time of this polish as it ready to go in a matter of minutes with no need to worry about ruining your nail polish as you get on with whatever you need to do with your hands afterwards. One last thing to praise is the finish of Cascade Cool as the color was left with such a glossy finish which unfortunately I couldn't capture very well in the photo! Overall a gorgeous shade that I'm so happy to add to my nail polish stash, and one that has already had so much wear on my nails.
