Erase/Rewind by The Cardigans.

Tonight’s song is self-explanatory. It’s about changing your mind about something after realizing it’s not right for you. Don’t you always wish you would have known better before? If only you could Erase and rewind…

Erase/Rewind was released as a single in March of 1999 from the band’s fourth album, Gran Turismo. It was featured in the ending credits of the movie, The Thirteenth Floor as well as during a dance scene in Never Been Kissed.

It didn’t make the charts in the United States but was well received in the UK at #7 on the Top 75 singles. It was also in the top 20 in Sweden, Norway, and Ireland.
