Entertaining at the Garden District at Brambleton, Ashburn Va

It's the most wonderful time of the year...... Sartorially speaking, with all the festivities and holiday parties, this time of the year tends to get a tad bit overwhelming. If you are someone whose social calendar is chockablocked with party invitations but is intrigued by the idea of what to wear, then listen up: " I am sharing not one, but three outfits, that not only scream oh-so-festive, but are a mix of high and low, so there is treat for every budget ....!" Whether you are the party host or the guest, we all deserve to play dress up.

FAMILY STYLE GET TOGETHER
For a family get together, I prefer to keep my look comfy, yet chic. There is nothing more festive than a tulle skirt paired with a feminine lace blouse and finished with a pair of block heels. A tulle skirt is cute, but in a more adult way. If blue is not your color, how about a black or may be a gold one??? To top it all off, a pair of statement earrings does the trick!!!

FIERCE FRIENDS STYLE GET TOGETHER This one's for all the ladies, who like to play the dare. There is a lot of sparkle and edgy-glam in this look. This H&M mesh dress with gold thread embroidery is sexy, but in a subtle way. I could have opted for a pair of black velvet pumps, but if you know me well, you would also know that this girl likes to do the unexpected, hence the sequin booties. As if the two daring pieces weren't enough, I added another fierce element: the leopard fur coat. So, next time when you meet your girlfriends over dinner, help yourself to this look and the velvet beret too.....!

FORMAL STYLE GET TOGETHER  After all that family and friends casual get togethers, it's time for some formal affair. One where you can wear a maxi dress, your Cinderella- shoes, some statement diamond jewelry and also play up your best facial features. To please the switching-up-the-game-lover in me, I opted for this BCBG Max Azria, chartreuse one-shoulder maxi dress, that has a hint of sheen, making it holiday-apt.  To take it up a notch, came in my emerald diamond jewelry and the metallic mosaic design clutch.
