Good Morning! You’re here today because you want engagement rings under 5000 dollars and honey, you’re gonna get what you’re looking for because I am armed and ready with some $5000 engagement ring eye candy to knock your Happy Socks off. Because this is such a strong budget, there’s actually a few different ways you can approach it: with ready-to-wear engagement rings, like the ones I’m showing off today, and like I showed off on Tuesday or with settings that still need a separately purchased center diamond, which I will show off next.
Today I’ve got a few more ready-to-wear rings, but this time with a designer twist by Henri Daussi. These gorgeous, designer settings are heavy on the diamonds, but again use smaller diamonds to make the most of their total carat weight. So you’ll see plenty of expertly crafted halos hugging center stones under 1 carat, but the rings still have major presence on your hand.

First up, this stunning and simple cushion cut halo engagement ring. The center diamond is a .42 carat I color, VS1 clarity square cushion (so it’s more even than elongated.) The accent diamonds add another .76ctw of round brilliant diamonds, also I in color and VS1 in clarity to the 18 karat white gold setting. Price: $4,578

Now let’s slip on our rose colored glasses. This lovely ring also features a square cushion cut, but this time it’s a chocolate diamond, a fancy brown that hides its I1 internal characteristics very well. And that combination also makes it super budget friendly, because you get it at .56 carats plus the .73ctw of white diamond accent pave in 18 karat rose gold for $4,444

Another rose gold beauty (though it comes in white and yellow too – as do all of these rings!) This one features a large .71ct center diamond, an elongated cushion with champagne coloring and SI1 clarity. It’s embraced by a rose gold halo and split shanks with .73ctw of pave accent diamonds, and it comes in just under budget at $4,958

Technically this beauty is just a hair over budget at $5,046 but it’s so pretty I couldn’t save it for the next category up from this engagement rings under 5000 series (spoiler alert.) Anyway, it features a .42ct cushion cut diamond with a J color and excellent VS1 clarity grade. It gets a major boost from two rows of diamond pave that form an epic double halo, plus even more diamonds on the gently fluted double shank – they add another carat total of white diamonds to this 18 karat white gold setting!

I love this .51 carat cushion cut diamond. It’s a warm J color with a stunning VS2 clarity grade, and it’s surrounded by a gently curved halo of big round brilliant diamonds. They add another .75ctw of I color, SI1 clarity round brilliant diamonds to the 18kt white gold setting, and this ring is $4,704

Meet one of my all time favorites, regardless of budget. I talk about her all the time, she really needs a name. I think Angeline, maybe Evangeline? Because she’s a star. Everything about her, from that warm, candlelit K color center stone to her elegantly curved itty bitty split shank and delicate halo shines. The accent round brilliant diamonds are I color, SI1 clarity and add .26 carats total to the .70 carat center stone. At nearly a carat, this elongated cushion is one of the larger diamonds I’m showing off today, so I love that the HD designers chose to keep the accent diamonds very minimal. It also kept the price lower, and she comes in at $3,930 – a full $1k under today’s limit of engagement rings under 5000 dollars!

Last and definitely not least, let’s take things a turn toward the bold. This ring has major visual impact, thanks to its wide open split shanks and generous accent diamonds on the halo. The diamond pave alone adds .70ctw to this 18 karat white gold setting, and the center diamond anchors it beautifully. This is a Daussi cushion, a special kind of proprietary cut that Henri Daussi makes, and it can give your cushion cut diamond a 30% larger appearance. That’s HD magic. The center diamond here is .42 carats, H in color and SI2 in clarity. This ring costs $4,686.
