It’s that time of the week again! The day we get to indulge in some sparkling, mouth watering engagement ring eye candy. After swooning over square halo engagement rings last week, this week I was feeling something a little more stark, a little more old school. I feel drawn to stunning, three stone engagement rings. My own ring is a three stone cathedral style beauty, and I love the symmetry and elegance of a three stone ring in a clean platinum or gold setting. I also took this fun quiz and didn’t love the ring it chose for me, but it was a three stone beauty so it was closer to my own tastes than I would’ve guessed an online quiz would land!

Let’s start things off with a big bang, shall we? This 22 carat fancy yellow radiant cut was a special piece Raymond Lee brought in for the Palm Beach Jewelry show, and everyone around the office (and at the show) couldn’t stop trying it on and admiring it! The large white diamond trillian side stones are softer than I usually see, with bulging shoulders. It’s not often you see side stones that require 4 prongs, but this ring demands it!I can’t get enough of this 4 carat L/M in color and VS2-SI1 in clarity emerald cut. Its warm color is noticeable, but not offensive (just a different look.) And the platinum mounting also shows off 2 Tapered Baguette cut diamonds with approximately 0.58ctw, G/H in color and VS1-VS2 in clarity. This 5.04 carat round brilliant never ceases to amaze me. With incredible clarity (VS1) and a lively I color, it shines against its equally lovely .70ctw pear shaped diamond side stones.Going, going, going, GONE! This favorite officially sold not too long ago, though not to worry. The classic three stone emerald cut engagement ring is one of our best sellers, and we’re already working on the next batch of beauties. This gorgeous ring is a high end staple. I love the contrast between the lovely, feminine round brilliant and the sharp, geometric lines of the tapered step cut baguette side stones. The center diamond is 1.95 carats, J in color and a stunning VVS1 clarity, while the side stones are about .40ctw and G/H in color.Last but not least, I wanted to admire this 4 carat emerald cut. With an L/M color grade (EGL) it’s definitely got some color to it. It’s yellower than the other 4 carat emerald cut above, but because it’s a step cut, it looks whiter than it really is. And with an Al Aletto original setting, this beauty is heirloom quality already.
