Empties – May

By Reeseatomic @reeseatomic

Ah May. The last month of Autumn but still cold enough to convince us it’s Winter already.

I’m sorry once again that my empties are late.

Empties – May

Aēsop Oil Free Facial Hydration Serum, $63.00
a part of my night skincare routine
forever

Swisspers Unscented Facial Cleansing Wipes, $3.99 (Purchased on special)
I thought I’d mix it up this month and try the unscented wipes instead. Not much difference except I found the unscented version wasn’t as nourishing as the scented ones I had previously tried. Not repurchasing.

Swisspers Aloe Gentle Eye Makeup Remover, $9.99
I did a product review on this product at the beginning of the year and really didn’t like it. However, I found that although it doesn’t remove all of my makeup thoroughly, it is does work quite well removing small amounts of makeup around the eyes using a cotton tip. That’s how I’ve been using it ever since it failed on me, which is why it’s taken me almost six months to finish it.
As for repurchasing it… I’m not sure. I used it daily to sharpen up my winged eyeliner and clean off mascara off my lids and other small mistakes, but other than that it wasn’t much use.

M.A.C eyeshadow in ‘Superwatt’, $33.00
I was obsessed with this eyeshadow for the longest time (well, since M.A.C’s Electric Cool collection was released) and searched high and low for something that even came close to it and wasn’t happy with anything I tried to match. But, that’s OK because I got over it and now just stick with matte shadows across the eyes.

Revlon Lip Butter in ‘Sweet Tart’, $17.95 (Purchased on special)
This was my absolutely favorite Lip Butter in the range they had. Although it’s not the usual bright pink lippy I usually wear, there was a time where I wore nothing my lip liner and applied ‘Sweet Tart’ just to add some shine and moisture to my lips.
I’ve already repurchased this too. I always loved how my lips looks with it on.
