Empties – March

I know I’m a little late with my empties for the month, but better late than never!

Enjoy!

Swisspers Naturals Cucumber Facial Cleansing Wipes
I usually pick up the small 5 pack and have in my makeup bag just in case I stay out all night and don’t go home. I NEVER go to sleep with makeup on, so although wiping off makeup with a makeup up isn’t my entire night skincare routine at least I’ve gotten my makeup off.

Swisspers Naturals Green Tea Calming Facial Cleansing Wipes
I thought I’d give this one a go. A while back I had a thing with green tea. I heard so many good things about it and went out and bought a tonne of products with green tea in it.
This product wasn’t awesome. I didn’t like the smell of it and something in it didn’t agree with my skin and caused bright red spots to come up. The only thing that worked as that, like other Swissper makeup wipes, it removed makeup thoroughly. Other than that, I’m definitely just sticking to the cucumber wipes I’ve been using.

Gaia Bamboo Baby Wipes
These are by far my favorite wipes. Although, they’re designed for babies, I use these for pretty much everything except removing makeup. I use them to clean up eye gunk first thing in the morning, I use them to with clean edges around my cuticles when polishing my nails and they also help with moisturising cuticles after you’ve applied cuticle oil. They’re great for wiping off products on the face from masks and they’re great at wiping off hair dye that’s missed your hair and ended up on you face.
I’ve been using these since before I even became a Beauty Blogger and they haven’t let me down since.

Too Faced Primed & Poreless Face Primer
I’ve finally finished this after so many months! I’ve loved this product for years! Glides on your skin effortlessly and although it’s a primer, most days I’ve just worn this on it’s own. It leaves my smooth and appears to be wearing foundation when I don’t.
The only problem with this product is that it doesn’t last all day. You have to blot your face and reapply so you don’t look shiny.

KORA Organics Cream Cleanser
My beloved cream cleaner sadly finished last month. This is by far my favorite cleanser of all time. I finished this halfway through the month and decided to try out a different certified organic cream cleanser but it just broke my skin out terribly. I was then silly enough to try the “sensitive” cleanser of the same brand and it just made my skin worse!
As it stands, I’ve switched back to KORA Organics Cream Cleanser. Just goes to show you should often stick with what you know.

Beauty Essentials Nourishing Pure Rosehip Oil
I thought I’d try this out because I had received a press release for this new range from the PR company. It’s very affordable but I was surprised to see that it wasn’t that rich amber color I’m used to seeing with rosehip oil; it was quite clear.
Still worked great as rosehip oil but I don’t think I’ll buy it again. I’ve been using rosehip oil for years and this is by far the lightest I’ve ever seen it and I’m sure it’s not meant to be.

Beauty Essentials Foaming Cleanser
This was a product was bought when I was going through my green tea phase. I’m not a fan of foaming cleansers – full stop – but it’s still a decent cleanser for how much I bought it for and I recommend trying it if you prefer foaming over cream.
