I have not reviewed any face powders or compact powder in a while so here I am with this review.The one I shall review today is called Elle 18 glow compact in shade Marble. As a brand Elle 18 has constantly reinvented themselves. I have been using their products for years. The Elle 18 Glow compact is available in 4 shades:

- Coral
- Marble
- Shell
The Elle 18 glow compact comes in a black casing.It has an animated character on it which makes it appealing to look at. I am not sure if Elle 18 ever came out with a compact powder but I would say this was a good move. I have always loved Elle 18 for its affordability. The compact is light and travel friendly and it opens and shuts well. It comes with a sponge applicator which is decent. Overall good packaging for the price.
As I mentioned before there are 4 shades. Well I did not check all of them but this one seems a good match for my fair to medium skin tone. It is pale yellow in color. It is very smooth and not chalky at all. I generally prefer dabbing the powder with the sponge applicator as it just helps in even and precise application. Many a times I use a powder brush too and works well that way as well. I generally do not wear foundation ,only on rare ocassions I would so I trust my good old friend Garnier BB cream and finish it with this compact powder. The powder does not give any coverage and will not hide any blemishes.The powder smells similar to Avon Simply Pretty Compact which I had reviewed earlier on my blog. If you have oily skin or oily to combination it will last you for 2 to 3 hours post which you will need a touch up.Overall I would say it is decent and definitely worth a try.The Good:Easily available in stores.Available in 4 shades to suit every complexion.Smooth texture.Not chalky.Does give a semi matte finish.Very affordable.Cute and attractive packaging.Travel friendly.The not so Good:Not available online.Ingredients list missing.No SPF.
