Elle 18 Color Pops Lipstick in Rusty Review and Lip Swatches

Hi girls,So what do you do on a boring Monday when you know you have to get back to business after a lovely extended weekend. I would say use a lovely lipstick which is bright in color or apply some colored eyeliner. Summer has officially begun and we all love wearing bright lipsticks this season like pinks, corals and oranges. I had read in the newspaper that Orange is going to be the color of the year when it comes to make up especially lipsticks. The bug has bit me too but I am still in search of an orange lipstick which is neon types. There are couple of shades in my mind already. However the lipstick I shall talk about is the most inexpensive one you can find in the Indian Market. I shall be reviewing Elle 18 Color Pops Lipsick in Rusty. Read on to know more..

Ingredients: Nothing mentioned except that it has Cocoa Butter.Price: Rs.100 for 4.3 ml (Less than $2 )
Shelf life: 30 months from the date of packaging.
I have reviewed so many of these lippies that I am at loss of words now.. Lol.. Yet for the benefit of everyone I would mention it again. It comes in a plastic black packaging which may be boring but the animated girlie on the tube makes it look appealing. Although the cap does not click I am ok with it and I would say it is travel friendly. Overall decent packaging and can't ask more for the price.
Since Elle 18 had launched way back I tried grabbing as many shades I could when they launched around 25 shades. But all the appealing and beautiful shades were launched later on. So I keep on grabbing shades here and there which I love. Hopefully I shall review some more beautiful shades in the future. Coming to the shade it is an orange not very neon but very wearable. It comes with a chapstick in the center which makes  the lipstick very moisturizing and does help the lipstick glide smoothly on the lips. You need to layer the color on for desired opaqueness which is ok with me. It does hide the pigmentation on the lips. It does not contain shimmer and smells lovely. However if you like fragrance free lipsticks you might not like this. I am in love with this lipstick as I am having a bright lipstick craze right now. The staying power may not be that great but hey what more could you have asked for 100 bucks. 

The Good:Moisturizing and creamy.No shimmer.Glides smoothly on the lips.Lovely scent.Inexpensive.Easily available everywhere even online.

The not so Good:Ingredients list missing.Staying power could have been better.Rating:4.5/5I think for the price it is a steal. I am loving orange lipstick these days  and this is a very nice shade for those who may not like neon orange lipsticks and want a subtle option. I highly recommend this to all except if you are not an orange lipstick fan.Thank you to all who commented on my birthday post and wished me on my birthday I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart♥♥
