I hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine was hectic as we had guests at home. Anyhow coming back to blogging business my today's review is a lipstick from Elle 18 Color Pops lipstick line called Pomegranate Pie. This lipstick is the most talked about and loved lipstick in the blogging community. This was a part of the old Elle 18 lipstick collection as well. Let us find out in the review how it fares....
Ingredients: not mentioned except that it has Cocoa Butter.
Price: Rs.100/- for 4.3g.
The lipstick comes in a normal black plastic packaging and is recognized by the animated character on the lipstick. Somehow it makes it look more appealing and girly, enough to attract people to buy this. Since the packaging is just standard and similar, if you have many it will be a task for you to search the shade you are looking for. I think for 100 bucks it is good. The cap closes well and I have carried it in my purse with no issues. One may have melting issues but thankfully I never had. I store them well in a cool dark place.
The lipstick is a mauvy pink color, not very dark not very light. I mean this won't make you look like an old lady.. Lol. The lipstick contains a lip balm stick in the center surrounded by the actual lipstick shade which is the same with all the lipsticks in the Elle 18 color pop collection. Due to this the lipstick glides smoothly on the lips and gives a nice glossy finish to the lips.You need more than a swipe for the shade to look nice and saturated on the lips. However having said this it is quite pigmented even though it is glossy and gives a lovely look to my pigmented lips. The best part is that this lipstick does not contain any shimmer which is great considering most other shades do have in this collection. It has a lovely bubble gum or some say cocoa butter type of smell. Whatever it is I love it :p The lasting power is average just like any other Elle 18 lipstick. Once it fades leave a light pinkish tint on the lips but it does not stain the lips. This lipstick will suit women of all skin tones. Hence it is a must have from this collection.

Inexpensive.Easily available.
Lovely shade.
Will suit most skin tones.
Moisturizing.
No shimmer.
The not so Good:
Staying power could have been better.Need more than one swipe for an opaque finish.

I think most of you have tried this if not, go grab it its amazing. For 100 bucks you can't expect gold or diamonds. I am happy with it and recommend it totally!!!
