Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, the Tehrik Minhaj-ul-Quran chief, has warned that elections, held under the existing “decayed” system, would break Pakistan apart.
While speaking to media at Allama Iqbal International Airport after arriving Lahore following a short stay in Canada, Tahir-ul-Qadri said as long as the corrupt rulers were at the helms of the state terrorism will continue to prevail.
He said that a major surgery is imperative to bring change in the system.
The TMQ leader said he will announce his future line of action during a public rally at Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi, on March 17, adding until the electoral reforms are not made, general elections will be unfruitful.
He also condemned the arson of the homes of Christian community in Lahore.
