Electronic Arts, one of the ace video game developers and pioneers in developing sports based titles have announced that their next venture – ‘Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14’, will feature a ‘Masters Historic Edition’ that allows the players to travel back in time and play the reputed game of golf, as it was then.
This classic mode of the game will also focus on re-creating the environment of the 1930’s and every other element including the golfing equipments, the attire and the terrain. Developers claim that a lot of effort has been put in towards the detailing, so that the gamers get an authentic golfing experience of the bygone era. They have also claimed that the roll out of such a mode is an initiative to familiarize the younger generation of golfers with some of the legends of the game and giving them an insight into the evolution of one of the greatest sporting events of all times.
The legendary edition of the title will also include interesting features like:

- An overview of the layout of the 1934 Augusta National
- The current day view of the epic course
- Access to Augusta National’s practice facility

In this title, the players will have a chance to virtually participate in some of the prestigious golfing events such as the Masters Tournament, Open Championship, The US Open and the PGA Championship.

The game includes over 20 championship courses ranging from Augusta National Club, TPC Sawgrass and St. Andrew Links and much more.
Play as Legends:
With this title, the players can take up the role of some of the veterans of the bygone era such as Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and others or the pros of the modern day like Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson, Ricky Fowler and others.
Real-time Weather Conditions:
For the first time ever, this title brings in the night mode, where the players can play a match of golf at night. Also to be included are the features like real-time weather feeds and changing daylights according to time.
The LPGA:
The player can also take part in the LPGA championship or initiate an all new career mode.
