The climate in this part of the world is slowly changing and we are into our rainy season of the year.As the temperature changes, we face health issues like cold and cough.To overcome this and keep us comfortable we feel to have something hot and soupy.When I had a bunch of these super power leaves, drumstick leaves I made this soup for a day when all at home had running nose and cold which made us little better.


This soup is so easy to make just add in all ingredients to the cooker and pressure cook it.Then mash it up, strain and have it.Sounds easy right ,let's go straight to the recipe.

Preparation time: 2 mins
Cooking time: under 10 mins

Ingredients:

Drumstick leaves- 1 cup
water- 3 cup (approx)
shallots/small onions-5 to 7
Garlic pods- 4
pepper-1\2 tsp
turmeric powder-1\4 tsp
salt to taste

1.clean the leaves well in water.Keep all ingredients ready.

2.To a clean cooker add in cleaned leaves and all other ingredients.

3.Cover and pressure cook it for 3-4 whistle.

4.After the steam in released, open and mash a bit.Pass it through a strainer.

5.Adjust salt and serve hot.
