After a stressful year it's always good to take some time out and go on a lovely holiday, whether you're jumping on a plane, train or any other mode of transport that you prefer! I personally love beach holidays as a great way to unwind because relaxing by the pool and not having to worry about anything else other than what outfit to wear that evening is definitely my idea of a relaxing holiday. After being so unsure of what we would do for our 2013 holiday, David and I have decided to give it a miss this year and instead save up for an incredible holiday in Florida next year (!!) which I'm already way too excited about. We're still hoping to have a lovely long weekend away at some point as jumping on a train and exploring another part of Scotland has become a bit of an annual tradition for us. Although we are giving the beach holiday a miss this year, I still end up looking at summery photos and daydreaming about lying in the sun and drinking cocktails. I've put together a few of these holiday inspired photos and will now continue my summer dreaming, especially now that a lot of my friends from uni are already enjoying the sun or counting down the days until they jet off.
