#DovePlay IndiBlogger Event at J W Mariott Mumbai

Hi friends,I hope you all are doing well. I have not been active on my blog over the weekend as I did attend 2 events which made my schedule a bit hectic. On the 11th of May 2014 I attended my first Indiblogger event  at J W Mariott, Mumbai which was the DovePlay event and Ohh boy what an event it was -  full of fun, masti and pizazz. It was an all women meet up, all dressed in white to kill ;) All women looked pretty and dazzling and hell no we did not miss the boys.. Lol.. This is a picture heavy post. Embrace yourselves :p

We had a warm welcome with Dove taking our selfies to post it on Twitter. I loved the concept. We had a photo booth to click pictures where everyone had lots of fun. We had lovely starters and snacks with a chat counter too.. yum yum..  We were then introduced to our host for the evening. We were divided into 12 teams. I was in Group 1 we had so many fun activities which made us bond with our fellow team members. We had a nice zumba dance session i danced my heart out after a long time and burnt some calories too.

Over the course of the day we engaged in 4 activities.. Hips Don't lie which was a hoola hop game. Then the Have a ball game where one person throws the ball and the other catches it in the basket. In the next round we paired in groups of 2 where we had to style each others hair and I think I did a good job. Lastly we had to solve a puzzle.

COOL RIGHT :D                                                PUZZLE GAMEWe then headed to the salon where you could get a hairstyle or a hair cut for free. Sadly I did not get one as we were pressed for time. Starters, Wine were just coming in one after the other. We then proceeded to an activity where each team member had to make a cocktail/mocktail and there were 3 gift vouchers up for grabs. It was a fun activity and very innovative too.

Lastly we all proceeded for Dinner and oh my god so many dishes to choose from. The food was yummm and the deserts were OMG.. We then were given T shirts by Indiblogger and Dove gave us a goodie bag  which included a shampoo, conditioner and Drum rolls ** a hair straightner from Philips.. I was so excited when I saw it because I always wanted one. We had some dancers shaking a leg to my favorite song Happy Song by Pharell Williams.Lastly we were dropped by cab home which was very nice of them to do so.

In conclusion it was my first Indiblogger meet and here I must thank my best friend Tejinder who did tell me I must go and enjoy which I did. I was very happy and I know she is happy for me too. I made some new friends, got to know some new bloggers from different cities. One blogger in our team was from Kolkata and one stays close to my house.. Lol.. as they say the world is such a small place right?

A memorable day well spent and enjoyed to the maximum. The #DovePlay IndiBlogger Event was rocking!!! It could not have been better. The Dove Managers, organizers were all very warm, sweet and helpful. I am surely looking forward to another event like this in future.You can see more pictures of the event here
