Dotty Fun

Dotty fun
A few weeks ago I spotted a set of 5 nail dotting tools for just 99p on eBay, so of course I had to go ahead and order some as I've quite fancied getting back into nail art. The last time I tried polka dot nails I ended up using the end of an old kirby grip but that didn't really go to plan so these dotting tools were a must have. The package took a couple of weeks to come as it was coming all the way from Hong Kong so I was happy to wait, and as soon as they arrived I was dotting my nails like a crazy person. It isn't the neatest I could have done but I'm sure I'll get better at it with a bit more practice. I ended up using Essie Fiji as my base colour, and Essie To Buy Or Not To Buy & Barry M Pink Flamingo for my polka dots. I thought this style of simple nail art was fitting as most of the clothes in my wardrobe seem to feature polka dots in one way or another, and I've loved how cute and girly the dots have made my nails look lately. Watch this space for more nail art coming your way (when I get a bit better at it of course)!
