Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone) by Glass Tiger.

This is my second entry with Glass Tiger and there’s one thing I’ve noticed: the lead singer loves singing to the camera! You’ll see what I mean. And if you’re interested in reading the previous entry about them, click HERE. More singing to the camera!

Don’t Forget Me (When I’m Gone) was released as a single in October of 1986 from the band’s debut album, The Thin Red Line. It went to #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and was their highest charting single to date. It also did well in Canada, going to #1. This particular track featured Bryan Adams on backing vocals.

The lyrics describe a man who is upset because his girlfriend up and left him one day. He’s still in love with her and he can’t believe she walked out. She, on the other hand, doesn’t seem to care how he feels about it. Hmm…I wonder what happened?
