The God among us- The concept of God
''If I love myself I love you. If I love you I love myself.'', RumiMeditation is possible with our eyes open, even during a conversation with somebody. If you suffer from a severe toothache, you can still do your work but your thoughts remain concentrated on that particular center of pain. Similarly, if you have reached the stage of your true concentration on God, your thoughts will remain focused on him even if you walk or talk. I used to close my eyes during meditation. Then, one day I said to myself, If God exists when I have my eyes closed, why can't he exist when my eyes are open?
So I opened my eyes and I saw God's creature everywhere. People, animals, trees, the Sun, the Moon, the Earth- in all of them I saw the Divine light of Infinity.
The moment when you realize God you will discover yourself and your true Divine nature. We are all connected as representatives of God. If you hurt another human being, you are by all means bound to hurt yourself. By causing pain to others, you cause pain to yourself.While you are ignorant, you will feel that God is someone who has an infinite power, whereas, you are the weakest, powerless person on earth. But the moment you get the realization of Him, you will know that you are all one and He abides in your higher self. The realization of our God-consciousness is the ultimate objective of our life. That is why we are here in human bodies, to achieve the realization of Him. Once we accomplish that and become aware of His presence, we will see him absolutely everywhere, in both the finite and the infinite. This is not some kind of hallucination or manipulation of the brain, this is all real and you can talk to God more truly and deeply than with any person on this earth.

God is Love
If you must be mad, be it not for the things of the world. Be mad with the love of God… Many good sayings are to be found in holy books, but merely reading them will not make one religious. One must practice the virtues taught in such books in order to acquire love of God.God is in Your Heart
Because of the screen of Maya (illusion) that shuts off God from human view, one cannot see Him playing in one's heart. After installing the Deity on the lotus of your heart, you must keep the lamp of remembering God ever burning. While engaged in the affairs of the world, you should constantly turn your gaze inwards and see whether the lamp is burning or not.
God is Infinite
Many are the names of God and infinite the forms through which He may be approached.
God is Truth
Unless one always speaks the truth, one cannot find God Who is the soul of truth. One must be very particular about telling the truth. Through truth one can realize God.
God is the End
To work without attachment is to work without the expectation of reward or fear of any punishment in this world or the next. Work so done is a means to the end, and God is the end.
