Not entirely sure anyone is aware, but this small, modest event is going on out in California, and it seems some people known within Pop Culture have gotten together, and let slip some pretty big new bits regarding different shows and movies. I can already see mass firings this coming week from all the loose lips!
One of those bits of information is regarding everyone’s favorite former ginger companion Karen Gillan, and her role in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Gillan is playing none other than Nebula, an alien space pirate that very few people are probably familiar with but will soon be looking up. An interesting little fact about Nebula, is she’s bald! So our former ginger companion, is formally ginger!! (No carpet/drape jokes here, this is a family website!)
Funny enough, to not tip her hat prior to the Guardians of the Galaxy Panel, Gillan wore a wig for her arrival to Comic-Con and didn’t reveal her shaved head until the panel. A funny side note is during the panel, Gillan revealed her favorite wrestler growing up was Stone Cold Steve Austin, which really is somewhat fitting.
