I’m sure most of you have probably already seen this on other sites, but for the few that might have missed it I wanted to make sure I posted it for you. Below is an impressively well produced, fan-made trailer for the upcoming 50th anniversary. It was released on YouTube a few days ago by John Smith, and quickly made the rounds across the interwebs by people initially thinking that it was the real deal.
For those that are anxious about seeing footage of the 50th Anniversary, this might clench your thirst for just a little while, or like me, make you even hungrier to see the real stuff.
To see how incredibly well this trailer has been put together with previous footage, if you look closely, you’ll recognize shots from The End of Time, Hide, The Rings of Akhaten, and likely a few more.
While again, it’s fake, it’s still worth checking out while we all wait out hope of possibly seeing footage or a teaser trailer for the 50th Anniversary at this years Comic Con.
