Monday morning was either a rearing to go or a “Oh no!” day for most people.
Having a rearing to go attitude is better, easier and helps you get more done – if you’ve never been like that – here’s a simple idea to help you. Before bed on Sunday night, set your intention for the week – make your list of “Must Do” items and go to bed a bit early.
Tuesday you’re in your week and there is a flow to it – it’s only the second day in and you’ve got almost the whole wide week ahead of you – good stuff.
Then comes Wednesday, or hump day – it’s the third day to rise up, our new week is now in full swing and it’s two days away from the weekend.
It can feel like a vast ocean you’re in the middle of – or not.
Like all things in life – our attitude determines how we view things – as I always say, you create your day by the way you think – how can you think about hump day differently?
I asked this question to begin: Do you have the hump day slump?
What if instead I asked: Do you have the hump day jump?
What if your mid week day is the best day – the day you play for 15 minutes, or you do a brain storm on new ideas?
What if we used the word hump – which is a swelling, bulge, bump – in other words – something bigger… to get bigger?
To expand – which means to get bigger, enlarge, increase, develop, inflate and spread out.
So how do you intend to think about today? Wednesday – this hump day and your day, to do what you want to do?
You Create Your Day by the way You Think! Be Present!
Go make it a Magnificent Day!
Blessings, Shawna
