How To Make EOS Lip Balms

I haven’t made this myself yet but I’m sharing this with you because this is such an easy DIY tutorials. I’ll be posting mine on Instagram once I got time to try this DIY. We will call this tutorial Homemade EOS Lip Balm not because we used the same ingredients as EOS but because we’ll be using an empty EOS lip balm or an Easter egg to achieve a sphere shape lip balm appeal.

So, we shall begin. To make a homemade EOS Lip Balm, we need the following:

empty EOS lip balm or Easter egg
petroleum jelly/Vaseline
vanilla essence or any flavor of choice
cling film
spatula/spoon
microwaveable dish
food coloring (optional)
small mixing bowl

Methods of Preparation:

1. Spoon an ample amount of petroleum jelly
2. Place it on a microwave for 10-15 minutes just enough to soften it a little bit that it used to be.
3. Add vanilla essence or any flavor of your choice (2-3 drops will do)
4. Add coloring if you like it to be tinted. Mix well.
5. Secure a cling film onto your empty EOS lop balm. If you don’t have an empty EOS shell use an Easter egg instead.
6. Fill the base of your empty shell with the petroleum jelly mixture and let it cool inside the fridge for 12-24 hours.
7. When it’s ready, remove the cling film. You should have a ball of lip balm by now and secure it back onto the lip balm base.

Tada! You now have a homemade EOS or sphere shape lip balm.
