Hola!!!
As promised that I would post more of my DIY Projects here on my blog, I present to you a DIY of “The Spiky Cross Booties” (No DRILLS or HOLES!).
Now here are the things you’ll need:
1) A pair of chunky heels (or thin heels) Shoes (I chose a pair of booties from ZIGINY called Simone, which I got on sale for $50 months ago).
2) 110 pieces (Gold screw-back spikes 1/4” inches) —> for the Main CROSS
3) 50 pieces (Silver crew-back spikes 1/4” inches) —-> for filling the half inches spaces of the Gold cross pattern.
I got mine from www.spikesandstuds.com
4) Big Crazy Glue (got one from walmart for $3.50)
The Steps:
1) I wanted a cross so I started gluing the screw-back of the spike vertically first. I also did the right shoe first, So I can just copy the pattern later on to the left shoe.
2) Make dual (vertical) lines of the screw back and stop 2 inches above the end of the heel (to prevent losing spikes when going on uneven surfaces).
3) After that make 3 lines horizontally just right above the heel (ankle area), I did 3 columns (shown below) and 2 about an inch apart.
4) When it is dry and sturdy when touched, attach the spikes to screw-backs.
5) After you attached the spikes to the screw-backs, reinforce it more with Crazy glue (around each spikes).
6) The Gold cross spikes should look like this on both pairs.
7) Start filling the spaces with silver spikes, glue screw-backs first in between the gold spikes, then attach the pairs when it’s dry and sturdy. Make sure both are proportional (same numbers of spikes both sides and vertically as well.) See photo below.
8) As you can see in the photo above and below, I filled the spaces with silver spikes proportionally.
9) Wait a couple of hours before wearing it, then you have your own Cross-spiky pair of shoes.

I will post an outfit with these kicks hopefully this week. I hope you guys like this project, more to come.
