Displaying Musical Instruments

Musical instruments don't need a special music room.. unless you have this extra space in your home or you need to play the instrument in a soundproofed room. I love it when guitars, sitars, violins, etc., are showcased in main living areas. It looks stunning as a focal point. And it can be easily blended into the rest of the decor.. well, I've some proof for you here.. Some of us might worry about children meddling with these instruments and for the other musicians this might be just an idea to incorporate. What do you think?
Also, isolating an instrument to a particular room might bring creativity down. Music is therapeutical, jubilant and it sets the mood to relax... and almost all instruments are designed with intricate details and are just beautiful to look at. There is no need to hide them :)
