More new music!
Today’s entry features Aimee Mann, originally from the 80′s rock group ‘Til Tuesday. If neither sounds familiar, do a search on here for “Voices Carry” – their biggest hit from their debut album in 1985 of the same name. Aimee’s solo work doesn’t sound like her earlier material, the biggest difference: no more playing bass which was her primary instrument in the band. It took a little time getting used to the sound but it’s growing on me, especially with this new album.
Disappeared is the second track off of her new album, Charmer, due for release tomorrow, September 18th. It is her eighth release as a solo artist and the cover art is seen the video above.
On September 9, NPR released a stream of the album in it’s entirety. Find that HERE. Maybe Disappeared will be her next single. The current single is the title track, Charmer.
