Dinosaur Art Trading Cards

By Kathybarbro @KathyBarbro
Dinosaur Art Trading Cards There is just something really cool about how white paint markers look on brown paper. I used them before with a Fossil ATC project, and have decided to use the same combo for some dino cards tomorrow. I know the markers are outside the average classroom budget (about $3.50 each) but if you can save up or have a special project, they are so much fun to draw with.
1. I cut up Canson® Pastel Earth Color paper into the standard 2.5" x 3.5" size. The dinos were drawn in pencil.
2. All the pencil drawings were traced with a Sharpie® poster paint marker, with extra fine tip.
3. A peeled crayon was used to rub over the edges of the cards to make them darker.
4. Names of the dinos were added as space allowed.
