Happy Saturday Lovelies. This week, after a shoot, I went for lunch at Dim T Restaurant in London Bridge with my photographer friend Abi Oshodi, who also took these tempting images, it was my first time there but I can already confirm my plans to return. Dim T has probably now topped my list of favorite restaurants mainly because of their spectacular dim sum which had me seriously warm and fuzzy inside.
If you're looking for spots to eat in London this weekend, I'd definitely suggest going to Dim T and I'd recommend their spicy prawn dim sum which is so soft and delicious. I also ordered the scallop and prawn dim sum which was great but couldn't really contend with the spicy prawn.
For starters, I also ordered the salt and pepper prawns and five spiced squid which were both unbelievably yummy and had me making sounds of pure joy. For mains, I ordered the Steak Yaki Soba which is Soba noodles with shitake mushrooms, Chinese leaf, carrots, green peppers and onions in a soy, mirin and sake sauce, crispy shallots and black and white sesame seeds and a lot of pickled ginger, which I'll be asking them to hold on my next visit along with the garlic.
Even though I could barely breathe after all this, I excitedly ordered the chocolate bento box which I didn't regret because it was presented in the most beautiful red box. The warm chocolate brownie served with vanilla ice cream was a great way to end a great meal served by wonderful staff in a great venue, which had the most beautiful view spanning to tower bridge. Enjoy! TL. Xx
