We are a fast growing digital design agency that is looking for a Digital Strategist to join the team. We work across digital producing a wide range of campaigns and builds, this can include websites, micorsites, social media campaigns, mobile and tablet apps as well as other digital assets. We work with international clients with some projects having very large budgets.
You will report to our Digital Director and will be responsible for the strategic direction of campaigns. You will have a multi-channel approach and will need to understand what strategies will work best for our clients and how they can be successfully implemented. You will work closely with the team to identify opportunities for our clients, you will then guide the creation of digital assets and campaigns in line with client objectives, advising and consulting as needs be.
The ideal candidate will be up to date with digital trends, will understand how different approaches can impact on target audiences and will be able to make the right decisions in line with the clients business objectives. You will also act as a digital champ within the agency, always at the forefront of new ideas and able to explain how they can be utilised by clients and team members alike.
The role will involve:
- Developing Digital Marketing Strategies
- Managing and developing search marketing and PPC
- Execution of Pay-Per-Click campaigns, providing leadership to ensure campaigns are as effective as possible
- Creating high quality presentations
- Forming strong client relations, acting as a consultant and the “go to” on all things digital
- Providing well thought out solutions to business needs
- Experience of Mulit-channel strategies (web based, social, mobile, content)
- Keeping up to date with industry trends
- Preparing and leading client strategy workshops
- Educating internal team on how to maximise digital opportunities
- Developing roadmaps with clients for future programs
- Ongoing client support
- Active in new business and new business presentations
The person
- A natural flare with writing and communicating (fluency in English is essential)
- Ability to think innovatively
- A clear and demonstrable understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics, including Google Adwords and Google Webmaster tools
- A detailed knowledge of a well known industry search marketing platform, such as, and preferably, BrightEdge, or Moz
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, HootSuite and other search and social media monitoring tools / applications
- Good organisational and project management skills with the ability to work effectively as a team leader and manager
- Experience working with client on creative solutions
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledgeable on all things digital

- 3+ years digital agency experience
Hours and Salary
As Digital Marketing Manager, you will work from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The salary on offer is £22,000 to £28,000 per annum dependent upon experience plus a new business growth related bonus.
The right candidate is expected to want to develop rapidly to become a key member of the management team with the potential to progress to become a Director of the business.
