In my blogging journey of over 2 years I have come across so many skin care brands more so which are herbal and chemical free. Today I shall be talking about a product from Herbal India who were kind enough to send me 2 of their creams for review - Derma Green Skin Whitening cream and the Plus version. Today I shall be reviewing the Derma Green Skin Whitening Cream. Read on to know more about this product.....

Some trivia about Emu Oil which is an ingredient in this product:Since ancient times man has looked to nature for remedies to relieve their aliments. Many years ago the Australian Aborigines discovered a powerful remedy with a broad range of applications. It was natural Emu Oil.The ancient Australian Aborigines utilized penetrating Emu Oil as a remedy for skin that was injured, dry, sunburned, or wind parched and to relieve aching muscles and joints. Emu oil was used as a folk remedy to treat various skin conditions, muscles and joint pain, even that associated with Arthritis and Rheumatism.Now the ancient wisdom of EMU OIL is being developed by modern science.
The cream comes in a huge plastic jar which is reddish maroon in color. It is made of plastic which is a huge relief as there is no fear of breaking. It also comes with an extra protective shield inside which is essential as the cream may tend to dry out. It is a bit bulky but I would still say travel friendly. Overall decent packaging.
The cream is pistachio green in color and resembles a pistachio ice cream ;) that is the first thing I noticed. The cream has a mousse like texture if you look through the tub. The smell is floral and not too strong. I like the smell in fact. The cream which  has a mousse like texture which in fact is generally meant to be drying but this was not. It goes on smoothly on the skin. I felt that  my skin was moisturized post application. The cream gives you an instant glow is the first thing I noticed. I usually would test this at night. The next morning I would get up I would find my skin glowing and so polished. Since I have a lighter skin tone my skin tends to get dull easily due to the pollution here in Mumbai. The skin definitely lightens and brightens with regular use. In fact I would not like to apply make up when I use this cream as I look polished already. It has definitely reduced some spots on my face and also the pigmentation around my mouth. I have used this for over 2 weeks and can tell the difference.
